Grams of CO2 per kWh supplied, as each supplier must print on its bills. A dash means the supplier wasn't in that year's report.
Worked example
A business uses 100,000 kWh a year. Its location-based Scope 2 is 100,000 × 131 g = 13.1 tonnes CO2e, whoever supplies it. On a tariff disclosing 256 g per kWh, its market-based figure is 25.6 tonnes; on a fully certified renewable tariff it is 0 tonnes; with no supplier figure at all, the residual mix gives about 39.6 tonnes.
How Carbon Recycling helps
Add your supplier's disclosed figure, or tick that the tariff is REGO-backed, and Carbon Recycling reports location-based and market-based Scope 2 side by side for every site, using the residual mix where you have no supplier figure. The same numbers go into your SECR report, Carbon Reduction Plan and customer questionnaires.
