About Carbon Recycling
Carbon Recycling is carbon reporting software for UK businesses. It turns energy bills, fuel cards, travel and spend into Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions using the UK government's own conversion factors, then produces the SECR disclosure and PPN 006 Carbon Reduction Plan that directors, buyers and tender panels ask for.
It is built for small and medium-sized firms that need credible figures without hiring a consultant: every price is published, every figure shows the DESNZ factor behind it, and the free tools work without signing up.
Our history
Carbon Recycling is not a new name borrowed for a new product. The carbonrecycling.co.uk domain was first registered on 15 January 2005 and has been held by the same owner for nearly twenty years. It started as a green project site about carbon and the carbon cycle, and its carbon cycle illustration was regularly found through image search. The Internet Archive's Wayback Machine kept copies of that site over the years, which anyone can open:

With carbon reporting now asked for in tenders, SECR and NHS supply chains, the idea behind the original site became a product: carbon reporting software for UK businesses, using the DESNZ conversion factors for 2019 to 2026.
