EcoHedge alternative: prices and features side by side

Carbon Recycling and EcoHedge both publish their prices and both produce PPN 006 Carbon Reduction Plans for UK businesses. EcoHedge charges a low monthly fee plus £199 per report, which suits one report a year. Carbon Recycling charges a flat £59 or £149 a month with every report included, plus supplier data requests and group reporting.

Our yearly costs are the yearly price, which is ten months' price paid upfront. EcoHedge's are monthly prices times 12, plus report fees.

Choose EcoHedge if

you only need one report a year and want the lowest possible cost;
you are a single small company with no suppliers to chase.

Choose Carbon Recycling if

you need more than one report a year, or want to update your plan without paying again;
you need an SECR report as well as a Carbon Reduction Plan;

How much does EcoHedge cost?

When we checked on 2 October 2026, EcoHedge listed a plan at £24 a month plus £199 for each report, and a plan at £99 a month, with enterprise pricing by quote.

Is EcoHedge cheaper than Carbon Recycling?

If you need one report a year, often yes: £24 a month plus one £199 report is about £487 a year, against £708 for our Starter plan. Once you need two or three reports (a Carbon Reduction Plan, an SECR report and a footprint for a customer, say), our flat price with no per-report fees usually works out the same or lower.

Are there per-report fees with Carbon Recycling?

No. Every plan includes the footprint, the PPN 006 Carbon Reduction Plan and the SECR report, and you can regenerate them as often as you like.

Can I move my data from EcoHedge?

Yes. Export your activity figures as a spreadsheet and upload them with our CSV import. We then recalculate them with the DESNZ factors for each year.
